Archaeology of a Storm

Archaeology of a Storm

Archaeology of a Storm, is a multi-media tragicomedy about three generations of people -encompassing World War I and the union building/busting era, the late nineteen sixties, and the present- who balance their inherited legacies with the conflicts of their present. This contemporary shadow performance explores the influences of pacifism, activism, materialism and poverty as forces that both bind and erode three families over the course of several generations within the same apartment building in New York City. The characters’ sometimes funny and sometimes poignant devotion to each other and their ideals, in the face of a storm, lead them to unexpected resolutions.
